Terms of Service

Last updated 7 September 2026

What this is

Donna is a private personal assistant built and run by one individual for their own use. It is not a product, not a commercial service, and is not available for anyone else to sign up for or use. These terms exist because Google requires a terms-of-service URL for applications that request access to Gmail data — they are not an offer of service to the public.

Who may use it

Only the operator, using their own Google account. There is no registration, no other users, and no mechanism by which a third party could obtain access.

Acceptable use

The operator uses Donna to read their own Gmail, Calendar and Tasks and to receive summaries of that information. Donna is not used to contact third parties without cause, to send bulk or unsolicited mail, or to process anyone else's data.

No warranty

Donna is provided as-is, to its own operator, with no warranty of any kind. It is an automated system built on third-party APIs and language models; it can be wrong, can miss things, and can stop working without notice. It should not be relied upon for anything time-critical, safety-related, financial, medical, or legal.

Third-party services

Donna depends on Google APIs, Anthropic, OpenAI and Telegram. Use of those services is governed by their own terms. Donna's operator does not control them, and any of them may change or withdraw access at any time.

Changes and termination

The operator may change or shut Donna down at any time, for any reason, without notice. Since there are no other users, no notice period applies.
