Donna is a private, single-user personal assistant. It is operated by one individual for their own use and is not offered as a product or service to anyone else. There are no other users, no accounts to create, and no sign-up.
With the operator's explicit OAuth consent, Donna reads from the operator's own Google account:
Donna summarises this information and sends short briefings and reminders to the operator over a private Telegram chat. That is the entire purpose. The data is not used for advertising, profiling, training, or any secondary purpose.
Donna runs on hardware controlled by the operator. Google credentials and cached data are stored locally on that machine and are not uploaded anywhere else.
To produce a summary, the relevant text is sent to the AI model providers that Donna uses — Anthropic and OpenAI — under their respective API terms, solely to generate that response. No other third party receives this data.
Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for advertising. Donna has no analytics, no trackers, and no advertising partners.
Donna keeps a small local record of which emails and events it has already looked at, so it does not repeat itself. These records hold identifiers and timestamps — not message bodies. Old entries are pruned automatically. Everything lives on the operator's machine and is deleted when it is removed.
The operator can revoke Donna's access at any time from Google Account permissions. Revocation is immediate and stops all access. Local cached data can be removed by deleting Donna's data directory.
